    Notes:

The second single from Salvation, and the band's first release under their own label, 'Navigator'. The promotional version of 'Flame' was released in June 1997.

Printed on the label side of the CD:

The story of Alphaville is a story of musical experiments and departures. The success of the single, and their first album 'Forever Young', gave AV the opportunity they needed to experiment further. Their 2nd album 'Afternoons in Utopia' (1986) is a testament to imagination, tenacity & courage.

'The Breathtaking Blue', their 3rd album (1989), is a mature, deeply personal album, highlighted with vastly differing styles of music: pop, rock, blues, jazz and even classical, all combined into a seamless, coherent whole.

AV took yet another departure with their fourth album 'Prostitute', an odyssey that leads from the depths of humanity through chaos, war, despair, hatred and anger, and into rebirth and hope.

Alphaville began touring in 1995, devoting as much energy & talent to their live shows as they give to their studio albums. This has brought the band a whole new generation of followers.

With the planned release (USA 2/99) of the band's stunning back-to-roots album, Salvation (5th), & their on-going series of tours, AV have firmly established themselves as a unique and powerful musical force, blessed with courage enough to experiment, and talent enough to succeed.
